SCRHL VLOG #25 - This week’s VLOG topic is about double minor penalties, given that there has been a little bit of confusion lately regarding how they relate to accumulated minor penalties incurred in a game.

In the SCRHL, if you incur three minor penalties, then you’re ejected from the game. There isn’t any post game discipline in this case, but the question has arisen if a double minor constitutes one penalty or two penalties towards the “three minor penalties and you’re out” ejection.

As the video explains, a double minor does indeed count as two minor penalties in the SCRHL (in this rare exception, the SCRHL does not follow Hockey Canada Rules).
